Annual Day Celebrated at Fr. Agnel Multipurpose High Secondary School, Verna

The Annual Day function of Fr. Agnel Multipurpose High Secondary School, Verna, was celebrated with great enthusiasm on the 12th September. The Chief Guest, Captain Viriato Fernandes, Member of Parliament, graced the occasion while Rev. Fr. Agnelo Gomes Director of the complex welcomed the gathering .The manager Rev Fr Vickey Hilario ,principal Mr Bruno Carvalho and Vice-Principal Mr. Vivek Rodrigues were also present. The theme of the cultural programme was “Goa – The Pearl of the Orient.” The students presented a colourful cultural programme showcasing the rich heritage of Goa.

Addressing the gathering, Captain Viriato Fernandes highlighted the power of the Gen Z generation and urged the students to use their talents and energy for the betterment of the society.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Principal Mr. Bruno Carvalho. The celebration was a memorable occasion that showcased the students’ talent and their appreciation for Goan culture and heritage.
