The Installation Ceremony of the Student Council Committee of Fr. Agnel Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Verna was held on 15th July 2025 in the school auditorium which was compèred by Miss Gladys Rodrigues.
The program commenced with a vibrant and spiritually uplifting prayer dance, setting a graceful tone for the event.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Adv. Omkar Thakur, an esteemed alumnus of the institution, along with the Manager Fr. Vicky Hilario, Principal Mr. Bruno Carvalho, Vice Principal Mr. Vivek Rodrigues and Student Council Coordinators Mrs. Mrinalini Morais and Miss Gladys Rodrigues.
The ceremony proceeded with Mrs. Mrinalini Morais leading the Student Council in the Oath Taking , instilling a sense of solemn responsibility and commitment in the newly elected members. This was followed by the badging ceremony, during which Class Teachers ceremoniously invested the Class Representatives with their badges, officially entrusting them with their leadership roles.
The ceremony featured the presentation of the annual reports, highlighting the various activities undertaken by the Student Council Committee during the academic year 2024–2025. This was followed by the presentation of the strategic planner for the year 2025–2026, detailing the initiatives and activities planned by the Student Council Committee.
In his inspiring address, Chief Guest Adv. Omkar Thakur emphasized the importance of team spirit and collaborative leadership, drawing from his personal experiences as a former student of the institution. His words motivated the newly inducted members to lead with purpose.
The event marked the beginning of yet another promising year of leadership, service, and commitment at Fr. Agnel Multipurpose Higher Secondary School.
